“ADD ON INSIDE” apartment in Agia Paraskevi.
The arrival of the fourth child of the couple hastened the decision for some adjustments of their apartment in order to improve the living conditions of the six-member family.
The couple “sacrificed” a part of the living room to create an additional children’s room.
The owner required the handmade heavy furniture and wood paneling of the living room not to be discarded. Thus, the elements of the wooden decoration are re-used in new positions. Nothing was wasted. The new room will be able to accommodate one or two children.
In the only bathroom of the apartment, the bathtub is replaced by a shower so it may be used by two or three people at the same time, in case of a major renovation of the bathroom. The decoration remains to be inspired by the Cherry blossoms, but with a renewed aspect.
